Community Services

Hospice of Rutherford County constantly strives to meet the identified needs of the community and serve as the resource for end-of-life care for residents of Rutherford and McDowell counties.  As the result, the Hospice program has expanded to care for many more patients, the 18-suite Hospice House is in full operation, the Palliative Care Program was developed, a Grief Counseling Program for all ages was established, and many other programs and services are being implemented to meet needs.  Advance care planning and support for caregivers was the next logical step. To tie it all together we have the Speaker's Bureau, which engages and educates the public about the many services provided by Hospice of Rutherford County.
